Pit Evolution was founded with the determination to contribute to a more sustainable world.

Focused on what we do best — we create biomass using natural raw materials, extending their life cycle through more efficient management. We specialise in the transformation of olive pit in to Biomass.

This transformation involves a cleaning, drying and blending process that enables the product to achieve minimum moisture levels, ideal characteristics for combustion (PIT ENERGY), and the ideal particle size for use as infill in synthetic turf pitches or other applications (PIT FILLER, PIT ATIV).

We are part of a circular economy, making use of a by-product of the olive harvest to avoid waste, replacing fossil products in the creation of biomass.

Equipped with advanced machinery, we are able to commercialise a 100% plant-based Biomass that meets the highest quality parameters, suited to the environment and to the needs of our customers.

The primary objective of Pit Evolution is to add value to raw material — olive pit — by producing a 100% plant-based biomass.

Through a more effective cleaning and drying process with blending of 100% plant-based biomasses. The result is a product with a high environmental standard and a carbon-neutral ecological footprint.

Portugal currently ranks 5th in the world for olive oil production. This growth is driven by investment in modern infrastructure and efficient agricultural practices, particularly in the Alentejo region.

The high volumes produced have opened a door to avoiding waste, enabling the use of olive pit through the production of biomass.
